Ropes Family and Community Outreach is a local civic and charitable organization which seeks to meet specific needs related to nutrition, culture and education, in Ropesville. Our organization supports many projects within the community. We endeavor to provide a venue for entertainment and cultural events for the citizens of Ropesville, TX while establishing a positive image of Ropesville as a viable, friendly and diverse community in West Texas and the South Plains. All funds raised through RF&CO are returned to the community. We are a non-profit 501(3) c organization.
Over the past 6 years, we have hosted a 1 mile, 5K and 10K run that brings people from Lubbock and other area towns to Ropes each year. Besides highlighting Ropes, 100% of profits go back into our community to help with needed Projects.
This is our fourth year to offer the “62/82 Music Fest” on Main Street Ropesville! We bring top name Texas Country artists to a professional stage and have an evening of great music in a family friendly environment, showing people outside of Ropes what a great community we have. All profits from this event go back into community projects.
